There are many aspects to wildlife control. Depending on the species of wildlife that we are trying to remove and control, there will be different remedies. For example, removing a bat colony from your attic is different from taking control of a single snake.
And nuisance wildlife control services differ by location as much as species. South Carolina wildlife control services might have different regulations than wildlife control in Tennessee. Therefore, it's important to work with a wildlife control company that knows the ins and outs of the job.
It is equally important to partner with wildlife control that is humane. After all, these creatures might be a nuisance, but that doesn't mean cruelty is required. On the contrary, we take pride in providing humane wildlife control solutions. And these reasons are why Alpha Wildlife should provide your go-to wildlife animal control services!
When you call Alpha Wildlife, we understand the urgency. You are calling because you want us to solve your wildlife problem, and we will do so with urgency. But first, we have to assess the scope of the problem.
We start the process by sending a nationally certified and trained technician to your home or business. They will assess the property, but also consider your experience to better understand and apply context. This is your opportunity to discuss your wildlife situation and explain what wildlife issues you are having.
This conversation will include the things you are seeing, smelling, or hearing. Having a better understanding of the situation, the technician will come up with a plan to remediate these wildlife issues.
Local wildlife removal does not come in a one size fits all approach. As professionals with experience in emergency wildlife removal, we know that no two jobs are the same. As mentioned,, removing a snake from the garage is different from removing a bat from the attic.
From wildlife control in Georgia to Tennessee wildlife control and in South Carolina too, we have you covered! Depending on where you live, you might be more prone to certain species than others. Our residential and commercial wildlife control services include a variety of the most common animal species that may infiltrate your property.

Nuisance wildlife animals that we regularly see are Bats, Rats, Squirrels, Raccoons, Birds, Snakes, etc. There are other animals that we will run into, but these are the main issues that we get calls on.
Additionally, an animal doesn't have to set up shop in your attic to be a nuisance. There are many damaging ways wildlife can impact your property, both inside and outside. Here are some of the common factors to look out for.
Bats will typically invade the upper part of the structure. They like to group together and roost in a small area. However, they can cause great damage both in and outside of the building.
To get them out you have to close every gap around the structure. These gaps can often be the width of your pinky or bigger. The biggest issue with bats is that they are a federally protected species. For this reason, you must use a company that knows and complies with all state and federal guidelines.
Rats will invade every part of a building. They will not hesitate to gain access around the ground area or the roofline. And therefore you shouldn't hesitate to reach out if you suspect you have a rat problem.
Rats are excellent climbers, whether inside your walls or outside to your roof. And they cause damage easily because they can chew their way to most materials. Their speed and skittish behavior makes them difficult to deal with.
Catching them and successfully keeping them away from your home takes time, persistence, and an understanding of how they think. Rats can turn from a small problem into an infestation faster than any other wildlife that we deal with. Because of this, even one rat in the house is a major problem.
Squirrels, like Bats, will typically invade the upper areas of the structure. That is not to say that we have not had to remove them from under a home. Even though that is more of a rare case, squirrels are determined creatures.
Squirrels also have the ability to turn into an infestation in a short amount of time. But only a single squirrel can be responsible for chewing baseball size holes around the home or structure. Squirrels are very tenacious and will chew incessantly.
And to make matters worse, you can not use foam or silicone to keep squirrels out. They will chew right through without a care. When dealing with squirrels, you must use a permanent material such as metal, cement, etc.
Raccoons are an animal of opportunity, which means they always find a way to gain access to a structure. Raccoons like the crawlspace under the home or finding a weak spot to gain access into the attic. They can also invade industrial warehouses that have open bay doors.
But in addition to being opportunistic, raccoons are strong. Raccoon paws, for instance, are powerful enough to rip through wood, aluminum, vinyl, etc. They are very smart animals as well, so understanding how to get rid of them is paramount.
Skunks tend to give themselves away pretty quickly because of their smell. If you have a serious skunk problem, you will likely know right away. That being said, eliminating the problem is not always as easy.
Skunks cannot climb, so you are unlikely to have them in your attic or upper levels of your home. They are excellent diggers, however, which poses a problem for decks, fences, and some crawl spaces.
Skunks also can carry rabies, which is a major reason to eliminate them quickly. They also like to eat (eggs or chickens can be attractive to them), which makes them problematic for farmers. The best plan of action is to have the professionals remove the skunk as soon as possible.
Snakes typically don't “invade” an area. Most calls that we get are for singular snake removal.
However, if you have another type of wildlife in the home or building, the snakes will continue to show up. Snakes will follow the scent trails to find their prey, such as mice, rats, squirrels, birds, etc. So if you remove those animals, snake sightings will slow down.

There are many benefits to humane wildlife control solutions. While some might be more obvious than others, they all play a role in satisfying our customers.
First and foremost the benefits of wildlife control services are a piece of mind for our customer. Simply put, the thought of rats, mice, bats, raccoons, snakes, squirrels, etc in your home is unnerving. The removal process provides immediate relief from these thoughts.
Another benefit is the long-term validity of the solution. After all, it is a solution, not a temporary fix. By sealing the structure from further entry, for example, then you will not have any more damage to the building. At least, not where we did our repairs.
Wildlife will always be around. But having the proper seal on your home will go a long way in preventing further wildlife issues.
